Replay every ladder on your own numbers

Every ladder Tide took in the backtest, stops included, replayed on the account you would connect: your starting amount, your plan and how much profit you keep in. The subscription comes off every month, so the end figure is what you would have kept. It is the past, re-sized, not a projection.

·

$1,000 is the minimum we recommend: below it the exchange's smallest order is bigger than the first step of a ladder.
Tide sizes each month from the balance on the 1st. 100% leaves every dollar in to compound. 0% withdraws each month's profit and keeps trading the same amount. Losses always stay in: you cannot trade money you no longer have.
Each ladder may use up to half of the month's balance in orders (20 at once, 10x in all), and its result is booked the day it closes. Fees and funding are inside every result. A ladder still open can sit deeper underwater than the closed results here show; the backtest's own worst drop, open ladders marked to market, is in the note on the right.
Every ladder is public: download them as JSON. Times are UTC.

What a 99% win rate hides

Many small wins, a few big losses

Almost every ladder ends at its take-profit, usually within a few days, for a small gain. The rare one that keeps falling ends at its stop, and that one costs roughly 8% of the account, up to about 12% when a coin collapses straight through it (LUNA, May 2022). A year of small wins can give back a month's worth in one bad week. Look at the drawdown, not only the win rate.

It only buys

Tide never shorts. In a market that keeps falling it waits, and that is when its stops happen: May 2022 was the worst month in every test. The coins-only history above goes through it; the worst drop any version of these settings has shown is about 37%.

The backtest is the optimistic end

It has no survivorship bias: each month it trades that month's most-traded coins, the ones that later collapsed included. But it fills at modelled prices, and the stocks have only been on Hyperliquid since 2023. The live bot has run on our own account since 8 October 2026; its ladders are listed above, next to the backtest, never mixed into it.
