Founder of Soomario Strategies
I'm Marcelo, and I run Soomario Strategies.
I started in finance. After a finance degree I became a licensed stockbroker at Scottrade (2008–2009), and later I was a relationship manager at Bank of America (2017–2018). Most of my working life, though, has been in South Korea, where I've taught since 2009: public schools, corporate training rooms and, since 2021, my own academy. Seventeen years of explaining hard things to people who didn't ask to learn them turned out to be good practice for writing trading rules that have to make sense to someone else.
Soomario is built on a simple idea: a strategy should be simple enough to explain in a sentence, and its record should show every trade. The Hype Bot is the clearest example. It trades one coin, HYPE, on one rule: a momentum swing with a tight trailing exit and a hard stop that rests on the exchange. I've published every signal since November 2025, the losing trades included, and it trades my own money first.
Around it I built the rest. Libration runs the same swing across eight coins as a Hyperliquid vault. Aphelion and Rotation work on US equities, and the Accumulator is for people who would rather buy the dips themselves. Then there's the Soomario Engine, which takes each signal and places it on a subscriber's own exchange account with a key that can trade but never withdraw.
I design every rule and run every system myself, building them with AI-assisted development tools. A separate watchdog checks every account around the clock, so nothing depends on me watching a screen.
What I care about most is that the record is real. If a rule stops working, I want to be the first to see it and the first to say so. Most of what you see on this site has been designed, tested, found wrong somewhere and rebuilt. That's the job, and I like it.
